Can’t Afford Adobe Photoshop? Rent It

adobe-logoAdobe has launched a subscription model for its new Creative Suite 5.5, a collection of graphic design, video editing, and web development applications. Under the subscription scheme users can rent the entire Creative Suite or individual applications on a month-to-month basis or for an entire year, without paying for the full product upfront. This will enable freelance designers and small businesses to legally use Adobe’s products at a fraction of the cost.

For instance, Adobe Photoshop is priced expensively at $700, but you can own it for as little as $35 per month for a year long rent or $49 on a month-to-month plan. The one-year plan offers lower monthly payments which is ideal for someone with an ongoing need to use Creative Suite software. The month-to-month plan provides the flexibility of a short-term commitment that allows you to stop and restart your subscription at any time.

The various software titles that are available under the subscription model is given below.

  1. $35 for a month, in the case of Photoshop, is quite affordable in my opinion. Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash are reasonable prices too.

Although you can change the cover photo as often as you like, it’s meant to be static – something which you design and leave it for at least a few weeks or months like a redesigned website. However, there are times when you may want to change the cover photo frequently and periodically to match event dates or some special promotion that you are running or plan to run. So, here is how you can do that.
