Google has added the ability to obtain flight schedule information for all airports directly on Google search results page. Previously, you were required to visit dedicated online flight searching/booking services to get that information. Although, you’ll still need them to book your tickets, but for a quick search for available flights, you no longer have to open another website.
To quickly find out which airlines serve a specific route and when they fly, simply type “flights from <your city> to <destination city>”. For example, if you search for “flights from Mumbai to New Delhi”, you’ll see a selection of non-stop flights and the airlines that offer them. To see a full timetable, click on “Schedule of non-stop flights.”
As you can see from the image above, it tells you the flight number, the departure and arrival time, and the days of the week that particular flight operates. You can also view all flights from a particular place by clicking on the “All flights from …” link at the bottom of the table (not shown in the screenshot).
Additionally, you can see all the destinations with non-stop flights from a particular airport. To see all popular travel destinations from a place, search “flights from <your place>” and then click "Show all non-stop routes". This gets you the full list of destinations and from there, you can click to get more flight details.
Google says that finding flights is one of the most popular online activities, so this update will help a lot of people find results for their travel-related searches quicker. Share this information with your friends so that they know.
